The N.E.C. (North Eastern Cape) Pigeon Union is hosting the SANPO S.A. National Championship Show at Graaff-Reinet on the 8th May 2010. OR Tambo reports that 6 heads was found on the runway. Only one ring was found with these heads. This was a ring belonging to Pta area.
SANPO asking not to liberate near any AIRPORT or indirect flight over a AIRPORT Indirect we mean that the pigeons should not fly over the Airpot to reach home.

FROM PETER AMSTRONG - 083 452 4243 I am doing some work with the KZN University with my pigeons. We are wanting so see if pigeons have landmarks that they know and use them to find their way home. We place gps loggers on them and down load the info when they get home. We sent 5 birds with loggers to Winburg on Friday and we had a bad race we got 3 loggers back and we lost 2 the birds that were caring them were BB ZA MSHSD 2008 6249 and BC ZA MSHS 2007 3257. Can u please put a notice on the web site if it is in order with you. I need to get the bird and loggers back to down load the info I will even put a reward of R250.00 on the loggers.
